Can You Sterilize a Used Cat Tree? What to Know

You can thoroughly clean and disinfect a used cat tree, but you generally cannot guarantee that its carpet, rope, and other porous parts are sterile. Before bringing it near your cat, inspect it for fleas, visible mold, stains, odors, loose hardware, and damaged surfaces.
